Latest News…..
We are shooting Jennifer and Brian’s wedding in Mexico this month! I met Jennifer on a plane back from Seattle, she wasn’t engaged yet but said they had been talking about it and that she would call me when it happened. Here we are with only two weeks until her wedding! She is going to be a beautiful bride and I can’t wait to post pictures so you can see just how cute they are together. We were able to meet with them to do a final planning session in Texas recently and it was great to see them and catch up!

New Addition….
The new Canon 5dMk2 has a home with J|K. It was love at first sight. I recently shot my first wedding with it and the images were stunning.

I am heading over to my parents tonight, our trip to Prescott has been postponed due to weather (as in SNOW!) so we are going to church and spending the evening together. I’m really looking forward to spending it with my family. We are all so busy these days, it is nice to slow down and have time to enjoy these moments that are so fleeting.

The day was absolutely perfect and I smiled every minute I was shooting them, you really couldn’t help it they are just so in love!

Angus was there to greet me when I arrived…isn’t he the most photogenic dog you’ve ever seen? I kept cracking up because he was so curious about my camera.

My office is filled with boxes since my closets are still under construction so my temporary office is my living room! You’d laugh if you could see my coffee table holding all sorts of various office papers and envelopes, my dresser serving as a printer/internet/time machine holder, and all of my hard drives lined up in a neat little row.

Had to share some great finds I’ve come across in the move! Scraping together what I can to make a home in a really scary economy has been interesting to say the least (I don’t own a TV! I know, crazy!) but the challenge has actually been pretty fun!

1. Termisil heat resistant glasses
Mom bought these for me for the new espresso machine that honestly makes the best coffee on the planet, God bless good old mom for that one!

2. Via Venezia espresso machine (see above mentioned)
So it takes me about 10 minutes to make my latte in the morning but wow, what crema and gorgeous foam from this machine! You can pull two shots at a time and it has enough steam for days. Puts my old one to shame which only spit hot water into my milk. I’m sure this machine will save me a lot of $ since I live right down the street from 2 Starbucks cafes.

3. Zebra chairs
No fancy name brand here, just really cute arm chairs for roughly $160 each at Costco.

4. Ektorp sofa (white) from IKEA $399
For real, where can you get a feather slip-covered sofa for less than that?

5. Pottery Barn Macie Dining Table
Right now at the stores this long black cabriole leg table is on sale for less than some tables at above mentioned super store, and if you sweet talk someone who works there they will usually give you an extra 20% off. Make friends with your local Pottery Barn staff!

I am working on editing Julie and David’s Wedding and am almost done! They were an adorable couple and I am so excited because it was the first time I got to shoot a couple in a cow pasture! I’ll be back up and running at full speed again after the New Year and will be posting lots of photos so stay tuned…

The family was a lot of fun and a special soldier over in Iraq is going to get an awesome album of his loved ones here at home. We went to a beautiful park and watched the kids play in the “sandbox”, they were so cute! Pictures soon to follow, I’m in the middle of my move but just wanted to share… Jennifer, you’re a great mother and I just want to applaud you for your hard work at home while your sweetie Andrew is away serving his country, I know firsthand how stressful it can be but I didn’t have to juggle three little ones! My hat is off to you : ) Hang in there Andrew and Jennifer, pictures will post as soon as I get to Phoenix!

I can’t wait to share more of the photos with you when I get my new Mac next week. Here is a sneak peek of her gorgeous ring and a sweet photo of the two of them. I had so many favorites I’ll have to upload a slide show as soon as I get them edited.
